Modern NZ Paintings: Artistry Redefined

I am passionate about capturing the beauty of nature through my paintings and prints. I draw my inspiration from the spectacular landscapes, flora and fauna of this beautiful country, and am curious about natural forms, colour and light.

I was born in Sri Lanka but have lived most of my life in Auckland, New Zealand.

​

I studied art at high school and I have always been creative, enjoying experimenting with different mediums.

​

During the 2020/21 lockdown I was recovering from a bad ankle injury, and I began to devote even more time and energy to my art, and produce more pieces.

 

My goal is to create beautiful art that not only gives me joy, but also gives pleasure to others who see it.
