Survival in Bloom | Kokako Print - Limited Edition

A kōkako pauses among the delicate white and cream blossoms of Tecomanthe speciosa, reaching for a single petal.

Set against a soft, dawn-inspired background, Survival in Bloom is a celebration of resilience, connection and hope. Both the kōkako and Tecomanthe speciosa are precious native treasures of Aotearoa, each with its own remarkable story of survival.

The kōkako is captured in a quiet moment of nourishment, surrounded by flowers that echo the softness of the early morning sky. I wanted this painting to reflect not only the vulnerability of these species, but also the possibility of renewal and a future worth protecting.

This kokako print is limited to 25 prints.

Each print is individually signed and numbered.

Printed with archival inks on acid-free cotton rag paper ensures  lasting vibrancy.
